A former starlet of the Silent Film era, Gloria inherited her family's company, and has done her best to live up to the ideals of the American dream, so much that she took to crime-fighting the corruption infesting the city and shores. Now in the modern times she continues that fight through her work at Swanson Enterprises, as well as continuing her role as the Golden Eagle. Some people question the similarities between her and the Gloria/Eagle of so long ago, but it's brushed off as a passing familial resemblance/or a loving throwback to a simpler time.
