Lærke Ulriksdottir grew up in a family with a long history in the Swedish Police Authority. She was the youngest ever Deputy Chief Commissioner of Västra Götaland County before her extreme actions while cracking down on superpowered gang violence in Gothenburg led to controversy, protests, and her dismissal from the force. Since then, she has traveled the world as a freelance consultant for police services confronting terrorism or superpowered crime, ultimately settling in the United States. She's an outspoken advocate for militarizing police services and expanding law enforcement training to fight increasingly supernatural threats, and a vocal opponent of teenage superheroes. While she has extensive connections among older generations of superheroes, she's fallen into an antagonistic relationship with younger generations.
